Abram Demski is the world’s leading researcher on Tiling Agents. He was previously MIRI Research Fellow. Co-author of Embedded Agency framework with Scott Garrabrant. PhD research at the University of Southern California.

$\text{Cole Wyleth}$

Mentor

Cole Wyeth is doing PhD research at the University of Waterloo, supervised by Professor Ming Li and mentored by Marcus Hutter, on AIXI. He has been published in ICML and Nature Machine Intelligence. His team won the 2020 ION Autonomous Snowplow Competition, and he has worked as a machine learning intern at AeroVironment developing a computer vision systems for UAVs. His current research interests focus on reflective AIXI variants and embedded agency, with a long-term goal of inspiring solutions for AI control and alignment.

$\text{Kabir Kumar}$

Organizer & Speaker

Kabir Kumar is the co-founder of AI Plans, which has led to multiple alignment papers being published, new alignment research teams being formed and leads the alignment research teams at AI Plans. He co-authored the course How to Train a Cross Coder for Model Diffing and led multiple events such as the December Critique-a-Thon whose judges included Nate Soares, MIRI President, Ramana Kumar, prev-Deepmind researcher, and participants included Daniel Kokotaloj, prev-OpenAI researcher.
